Terroir and wine-making

Gatto Bianco Funaro is an organic wine made from the harvest of Inzola and Zibibbo grapes grown in the Sicilian PGI Lands of Salemi and Santa Ninfa. The grape harvest is carried out in the coldest hours of the day, as early as morning or evening. Once harvested, they are vinified separately in steel jars at a controlled temperature of 15°C. After fermentation, they are aged and then refined in the bottle. This is how you get the tasty White Cat of Funaro.

Notes of taste

The White Cat is an extremely fresh and aromatic wine, rich in taste. Its straw yellow color with greenish reflections makes the White of Cantine Funaro a pleasure for the eyes as well as for the palate.

Wine at the table

The Funaro White Cat gently accompanies appetizers based on fish, vegetables, pasta sarde and anchovies citrus, a combination that enhances even more the aromaticity of wine.

Curiosity

For the production of its wines, Funaro uses highly targeted production processes to protect nature and consumers. The strong link with respect for the environment make the Gatto Bianco a manifestation of the typical traits of the Sicilian PGI.
