Terroir and wine-making

The Grillo Vigna di Mandranova by Alessandro di Camporeale is the result of one of the most renowned vines on the island: the Grillo. Its grapes grow in optimal soil and climate conditions, those of the small agricultural center of Camporeale, in the upper Belice, in the province of Palermo. The vinification and ageing methods apply the rules of organic production, in order to enhance the natural characteristics of the grape in respect of the territory. This way you get a white wine Sicilia Doc from the original thickness and tasty.

Notes of taste

In the glass, the Grillo Vigna di Mandranova shows its delicate straw yellow color and releases pleasant citrus and tropical notes. On the palate reveals its great freshness and aromaticity that are combined with the sweet finish and never stale.

Wine at the table

At the table, Alessandro di Camporeale’s Cricket prefers the company of risotto with artichokes, of the filet of mullet or of swordfish. It should be served at a temperature of 10-12°C.

Curiosity

The Grillo di Alessandro di Camporeale was named after the plain of Mandranova, at the foot of the hills of Belice, where the famous grapes of the autochthonous vine are born.
