Terroir and wine-making
The Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico Santa Tresa benefits from the first DOCG recognized to wines produced in Sicily. In Vittoria, where this wine is born, the terroir is perfect for growing the vineyards of Frappato and Nero d'Avola with which you get the Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico. The vineyards are located in an area very close to the sea where the climatic conditions favor the ideal ripening of the grapes. The treatments and processing processes are carried out in accordance with the company philosophy based on the principles of organic farming. The vinification follows traditional methods: the grapes are harvested and processed separately; then they are aged in tanks where malolactic fermentation takes place, giving the final product a softer texture.
Notes of taste
The Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico Santa Tresa has an intense and bright ruby red color with slight garnet hues. Hints of ripe fruit and spices make up a pleasant bouquet that precedes the power and freshness on the palate, where it releases lively tannins and gives off a pleasant blackberry taste. An elegant wine with a good long finish.
