Terroir and wine-making

Avulisi wine is born from the selection of the best Nero d'Avola grapes grown in the town of Vittoria, an area renowned for the quality of the wines produced. The Feudo di Santa Tresa has been growing its vineyards here for over fifty years, respecting the principles of organic farming. The wine is aged in small oak barrels for at least 12 months before bottling.

Notes of taste

Avulisi is a Nero d'Avola with an intense ruby red colour and evident garnet hues. The bouquet is complex and is characterized by aromas of wild berries, currants and spices. The palate is round and sweet, with evident tannins and balanced by the overall structure of the wine. The finish is long and persistent, with fruity and spicy notes.

Avulisi is a wine with a robust character that goes well with savory vegetable dishes, salami and traditional meat dishes.

Curiosity

Avulisi is produced with a limited run in order to guarantee the quality of the wine at the expense of the quantity: every year the Feudo di Santa Tresa produces maximum 4000 bottles.
