Terroir and wine-making
Nero d'Avola grapes grow luxuriant in the vineyards owned by Feudo Disisa located between Grisì and Monreale: the terroir of the agro palermitano is optimal for their correct maturation. Every year, after a careful selection of the grapes, the grapes are subjected to maceration and subsequent fermentation at controlled temperature and malolactic in steel. The ageing in French oak barrels for over a year and in bottle for another year completes the organoleptic profile of the wine.
Notes of taste
Intense ruby red colour with purple reflections and intriguing scent of fruit, among which you can distinctly perceive hints of cherry and strawberries, present the qualities of Vuarìa Feudo Disisa. On the palate it is enveloping and full with an excellent persistence.
Wine at the table
As a good protagonist with eccentric qualities, the Nero d'Avola Vuaria is perfectly at ease in convivial occasions in the company of aged cheeses and red meat dishes.
Curiosity
Vuarìa wine takes its name from the vineyard located within the Feudo Disisa where grow the Nero d'Avola grapes that constitute its essence. The homage to the land of origin of raw materials that from the surrounding environment derive their innate qualities.
