Terroir and wine-making

In the terroir of the Sicilian Lands PGI of Monreale, Feudo Disisa takes care of the growth of the Nero d'Avola vineyards that become the essence of a monovarietal wine with a rich organoleptic profile. Fifteen days of maceration precede the vinification in cellar of carefully selected grapes. The fermentation also includes malolactic fermentation, before aging in French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks and three months of rest in bottle.

Notes of taste

Nero d'Avola Feudo Disisa stands out for its rich fruity notes that fill a bouquet of cherries and strawberries and a full and enveloping flavor. A wine of great persistence, which reveals its character already to the sight with its typical intense ruby red and purple color.

Wine at the table

Served at an optimum temperature of 16-18 °C, the Feudo Disisa’s Nero d'Avola is a popular guest on convivial occasions, accompanied by various culinary dishes based on red meat and aged cheeses.

Curiosity

In its estate, which rises close to an ancient Saracen tower restored by the winery, the winemakers of Feudo Disisa are protagonists of experimentation on great national and international vines. A long-standing experience that is expressed in the quality of wines at the level of major national labels.
