Terroir and wine-making

The Nebbiolo grapes used to produce the Nebbiolo Langhe DOC wine from the Barbaresco producers grow on soils of a silty, clayey and calcareous type that contributes to enhance the typical characteristics of the vine. Fermentation takes place in contact with the skins and involves two replacements per day.

Notes of taste

Langhe Nebbiolo Produttori del Barbaresco has an intense ruby red color enriched by garnet reflections. The bouquet releases evident notes of ripe red fruit, pepper and anise. The palate is full and balanced and has a long and persistent finish.

Wine at the table

The Langhe Nebbiolo of the Barbaresco producers goes perfectly with meat and vegetable appetizers, spicy first courses, red and white meats.

Curiosity

The Nebbiolo grown in the areas of Barbaresco has very different characteristics from other areas of Piedmont, so that the producers of Barbaresco, which in the past were united under the name of Cantine Sociali di Barbaresco, They started to make wine with these grapes over a century ago.
