Terroir and wine-making

Aria Syrah is produced with the grapes of the same name, which grow in the terroir of north-western Sicily, in the lands of Partinico, characterized by a calcareous and clay soil that favors the good ripening of the fruits. After the manual harvest, which usually takes place in the second ten days of September, we pass to alcoholic fermentation with maceration at a controlled temperature for 10-12 days. After the vinification, the wine is ready to be tasted in all its fullness.

Notes of taste

The color of Aria Syrah from Costantino is an intense ruby red with violet streaks. Its scent is enveloping and rich in hints of spices, ripe red fruit and sweet vanilla notes. On the palate it is soft and intense.

Wine at the table

The favorite company of Costantino’s Syrah Terre Siciliane IGT is made up of red meat dishes such as beef fillet or the traditional black pig from Nebrodi. Like any good Syrah, it prefers to be accompanied by tasty meat dishes.

Syrah Aria, like many other wines from the Sicilian winery, has been awarded important awards: 86 points Annuario Luca Maroni 2016, 86 points Gold Guide I Vini di Veronelli 2017 and Bronze Medal EnoExpo 2010.
