Terroir and wine-making

The first wine made from grapes of Tenuta Regaleali, the Sicilia DOC bearing the same name is produced with Inzolia, Gracanico, Catarratto and Chardonnay grapes. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 14-15° C for 15 days is followed by vinification which takes place in the same containers for about 3 months. After the wine is bottled and ready to bring to the table the authentic taste of Sicily.

Notes of taste

Brilliant in its straw yellow color enriched with greenish reflections, the Sicilia DOC Regaleali Bianco releases intriguing aromas of fruits such as apple, pear, peach and citrus fruits. The palate is equally generous and complex, for an intensely pleasant and fresh taste.

Wine at the table

All the fish dishes are enhanced in the company of the Regaleali Bianco di Tasca d'Almerita, which is also delicious with aperitifs and delicate appetizers. It should be served at a temperature of 10-12°C.

Curiosity

The wine Regaleali Bianco bears the name of the beautiful Tenuta Regaleali, in the hinterland of Palermo, owned by the renowned Sicilian winery. It is here that Tasca d'Almerita produces some of its most important wines, which have made it famous not only in Sicily, but in Italy and the world.
