Terroir and wine-making

From the IGT Sicilian Lands rich in Grillo grapes, the wine of Feudo Disisa is born: the fruits harvested ripen under the sun that beats on the vineyards of Monreale. The best grapes are selected and the wine-making process begins: fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16-18 °C precedes maturing in stainless steel containers for six months, followed by another two months of aging in the bottle to complete the organoleptic quality of this classic Sicilian white wine.

Notes of taste

The Grillo grapes give the wine Feudo Disisa the typical straw yellow color with green reflections and a pleasant fruity aroma rich in citrus notes. On the palate it reveals its intense and enveloping character, with a remarkable persistence.

Wine at the table

As a good white Sicilian, the Grillo Feudo Disisa favors combinations with seafood, delicate first courses of fish or vegetables, white meat seconds or fish with a delicate flavor.

Curiosity

The long experience of Feudo Disisa is expressed in a deep knowledge of the wine territory that extends between Alcamo and Monreale: here, thanks to the foresight and vision of the Di Lorenzo family, the first international trials have been conducted on grapes to be added to the local vineyards, always at the centre of production.
