Terroir and wine-making

The Gewürztraminer wine from Conti d'Arco is born in one of the most suitable terroir of Trentino. Every year the winegrowers of the winery harvest the Traminer grapes when they reach their optimum level and acquire the typical copper-yellow, almost bronze color. The skins remain in contact with the must before statically settling in cold. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C with only selected yeasts. The wine rests in a heat-conditioned environment, ready to be appreciated in all its qualities.

Notes of taste

The Gewürztraminer Conti d'Arco appears to the eye in a straw yellow robe. It has an intriguing scent of cedar, rose hips, honey and fruit. It enchants the palate with aromatic and dry, balanced and persistent scents.

Wine at the table

Served at an optimum temperature of 10 degrees C in a tulip-shaped glass, the Conti d'Arco Gewürztraminer is perfect for appetizers and delicate dishes, fish dishes and white meats. Perfect as an aperitif wine.

Curiosity

The name of the winery Conti d'Arco comes from the surname of a noble family owner of the medieval castle that stands on the vineyards, where the fruits are born with which they make the Gewürztraminer and other DOC wines of the winery of Trentino.
