Leone d'Almerita is the diamond in the Tasca d'Almerita winery, grapes grown in high hills that reach 900 meters and aromatic freshness of an exclusive blend of four vines. One of the most important Sicilian realities renowned all over the world, a modus operandi of the family Count Tasca D'almerita characterized by passion and willingness to produce and design new stimuli for the most demanding palates. The fermentation of white wine, after the September harvest, takes place in stainless steel tanks at 14/16 °C. The final aging takes place in steel tanks in the presence of yeast.

Notes of taste

The wine Leone d'Almerita of house Tasca D'almerita proposes a bright straw yellow dress with small greenish carvings. The scent evokes hints of grappello, green apple and tropical fruits: the typical Sicilian essences rich and varied. In the mouth, a fragrant and intense flavor stands out, full of roundness with a finish that reminds ripe and sweet fruits.

Leone d'Almerita accompanies a wide range of dishes, from hot fish appetizers with octopus, squid and smoked salmon, to first Mediterranean dishes, fried fish and stewed specialties.
