Terroir and wine-making

The Sicilian winery Costantino carefully cultivates the Müller Thurgau grapes in the vineyards that design the countryside of Patrinico, in northwestern Sicily. The soil here is typically calcareous and clayey. Every year the winemakers of the Costantino farm hand harvest the grapes in the second decade of August. The vinification process begins, with a cryo-fermentation phase of about 6 hours, followed by soft pressing of the grapes and fermentation in steel at controlled temperature.

Notes of taste

Aria Müller Thurgau Terre Siciliane IGT wine takes a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The bouquet of intense and elegant fragrances lets you perceive clear citrus and floral notes. On the palate it is lively and slightly acidic and savory on the finish.

Wine at the table

The Müller Thurgau Aria by Costantino is perfect to drink as an aperitif. Also great to accompany all fish appetizers and seafood.
